Our school opening hours are 8:30am to 3:00pm; this equates to 32 hours and 30 minutes of compulsory school time each week.
We also run daily wrap-around-care before and after school, as well as after-school enrichment opportunities for all children. Including wrap-around care, school is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm every day, which equates to 50 hours each week. Although school starts at 8:30am, our doors open at 8:25am so that children can be in school and ready to learn, and to ease congestion on the driveway and around school.
The School Day
All of our children start and finish school at the same time. As we have 360 children, lunches are staggered over two sittings. Extra-curricular clubs run to 4pm.
- 8:25am – Doors Open
- 8:30am – School Starts
- 8:50am – Assembly
- 11:40am to 12:50pm – Lunch (2 sittings)
- 3:00pm – School Finishes
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club starts at 7:30am and runs to 8:30am; this can be accessed via the Y5/Y6 door next to the upper playground.
