Education Staff Wellbeing Charter
The education staff wellbeing charter is a declaration of support for, and set of commitments to, the wellbeing and mental health of everyone working in education.
Normanton Junior Academy has signed up to the charter, as a shared commitment to protect, promote and enhance the wellbeing of our staff.
Signing up to the charter is our public commitment to actively promoting mental health and wellbeing through policy and practice at NJA. The Governors and Senior Leaders, at NJA, are dedicated to improving and protecting the wellbeing of all our staff.

Waterton Academy Trust Counselling Provision
At Waterton Academy Trust, we invest heavily in our colleagues ensuring that everyone benefits from being part of the Waterton family.
We all have mental health and, just like physical health, it needs looking after. Sometimes this need is heightened and Waterton recognises that our employees may require additional support from time-to-time. Promoting well-being is an integral part of Waterton’s people strategy.
In order to support our well-being strategy and to make positive changes for employee mental health, Waterton has an additional route for colleagues to access high quality, independent and professional counselling.
